I finally just gave my beauty products to a women's shelter.
Yes, it took me a long time to let it go.
I feel a little sick over how much $ it probably was, (ex., some of the face creams I gave away cost $50-75 ea).
At least it will be given to women that are likely missing nice things, or maybe never had them, so there's that, but I do admit that I feel oddly and embarrassingly attached to those dumbass products. They helped me feel a little better about myself til I became horribly allergic.😔

I told him not to because it isn't sustainable, I can't rely on him to do it for the rest of my life so I just need to figure out how to deal without something to control my wild hair.
Besides, soon enough the greys will likely take over and then I can just settle into being referred to as "the lonely crazy-grey-haired lib woman with the cute dogs in the sac who lives like she's in a bubble". That was a lot, I'm sure the kids will shorten it.

    My son told me today that he thinks my rashes are related to the stress I went thru with my mom. (Long story)
    I can't really argue against that.
    Perhaps.🤷‍♀️ Stress does stuff.
    I know I have unresolved shite...anger, pain, grief, a lot of anger, a lot.
    How does 1 get rid of anger when 1 can't express the anger to the person w/o MORE anger internalized due to lack of validation?
    Maybe I should smash things?
    Exercise/calm hasn't changed anything for me.

    I know what he went thru. I know I went thru worse. He did what he did to somehow feel better, at my expense, at my son's expense.
    That only scratches the surface of my last 3 yrs. But I get you. It's just that his shoes are way more comfortable than mine.

    Your message makes sense for the anger I have for my mom. Which I know is misplaced. My mom struggled for decades and I tried to help her, save her, for decades. I had successes. She was always trying, in her way, to protect me and I know that.
