Se7en is one of those movies which didn't scare me, but that dialog in the car made me admit that Doe was right and thus made me look deeper into myself. Top 5.
I found FWWM more odd than scary...well, OK, BOB was scary AF 😂

Another non-exciting half day spent in the office. Two of my deskmates have been laid off with immediate effect.
The first one was trying to send out sensitive data to a competitor from his office mail address.
The second one has been reported for sexual harassment by multiple coworkers.

The A-Team from the 1980s is my favorite TV show, and they had these big hardcover 'Annual' books they'd put out for it. I just discovered the one from 1984 is at the Internet Archive, and if you log in, you can 'borrow' it for an hour (and every hour it resets) and flip through all the scanned pages. It's totally wild.

Shit I find difficult to tolerate:

  • not showing up for a call
  • "I"m runninng a bit late" - when I give you a ring after 3 minutes
  • "Give me 5 more minutes"
  • "10 more minutes and I'll join"
  • ultimately 27 minutes late to a 30-minute meeting
  • asking "what is today's topic?"
  • aggravating by "ah, OK, I'm listening"
  • further aggravating by acting surprised that you were supposed to present
  • trying to wing it.

Good morning folks!
Saturday morning status update:

  • I was surprised this morning that I am only half a kg away from seeing a 7 in front of my weight for the first time in... 7 years?
  • despite eating a whole chocolate bunny yesterday 🤭
  • I noticed a little birdie checking out the nesting house I built for them 🐦
  • my kid won me a beer this morning 🍻
  • some gardening work will be done this weekend (we'll grow corn)
  • tomorrow we'll hit an ice cream theme park (because apparently it is summer).
