"Antiwoke" magazin on kbin.social posting bullshit like "how to end Wokeness" and "Time to reject the extrem trans lobby harming our society" How to report ? he is the moderator of that magazin. (calckey.social)

@ernest how do I report a Magazin on kbin.social ? There is a usere called "ps" who is posting to his own "antiwoke" Magazin on kbin.social. Please remove this and dont give them a chance to etablish them self on kbin.social. When I report his stuff it will go to him because he is the moderator of the magazin? Seems like a...

Haan,

Why do you care? Is kbin.social not a free speech platform? If not, I’ll find somewhere else to go.

I don’t even agree with these folks, but if people are going to start raising a big stink because people are saying things they don’t like, I’m out.

I’ve fallen into a deep gaming rut lately. What helped “get you back into” gaming and rediscover the magic of video games?

I, like many gamers, grew up playing Pokémon Red and Nintendo 64 and was obsessed with Nintendo products. I graduated to a PS2 and PS3 and became super into Metal Gear Solid and Call of Duty and Fallout. Also spent a ton of time with the Guitar Hero series. I loved the escape gaming brought me and it genuinely helped me relax....

Haan,

What really sucks is that it eliminates any sort of trade-in systems. I rarely have the desire to play a game I've already finished, at least I would be able to recoup some of that money towards a new game. There goes that along with lending games to friends

Haan,

I am. I like here, but I'm getting tired of only discussions about Reddit for the most part. If I want to talk about SBC gaming, steam deck, or the game I'm currently into, all of those communities exist over on Reddit.

It's also annoying how the most active instance (beehive) doesn't allow us to interact with them so there goes that.

Haan,

I STILL want one of these so bad. Wish they weren't so expensive as I just cannot justify spending so much on such an outdated piece of tech :(

Haan,

Marketing dollars! Only reason they did this is so they can say “hey look! We still have 3rd party apps!”

Haan,

Steam Deck got me back into gaming. It has gotten to the point that if I can't play it on the Deck, I won't play it at all. I have a PC, Ps5, and a Switch and the SD has become my primary device. I absolutely LOVE it and it has been one of the best purchases I've made in years

Haan,

They should just design a game that doesn’t require so many mods in the first place

Haan,

Both Reddit and Twitter making sure their data won't be used for training chat bots without a hefty price tag

Haan,

Fuck off with this shit. Sounds as if you're the one with some sociopathy.

If Reddit phased out 3rd party apps gradually and tactfully, do you think this would have gone the way it has? The Reddit app is terrible, but is it any worse than navigating and learning the fediverse so far? Be honest.

I've been thinking a lot about why I decided to come here and I know it started off as a "they can't make me use their shitty app!" while simultaneously using test apps that crash and navigating less content than Reddit. What is the primary motivation for all of this anymore? Is anger enough of a motivation to keep people away...

Haan,

Wow! I completely forgot that this existed!

"Kbin: covering all the current news and rumours out of Russia about Wagner, a possible coup, etc. Reddit: *crickets* Make of it what you will. 🤷‍♀️" (indieweb.social)

Kbin: covering all the current news and rumours out of Russia about Wagner, a possible coup, etc. Reddit: crickets Make of it what you will. 🤷‍♀️

Haan,

Remember when Reddit had the breaking stories LONG before everyone else?

Haan,

What sane person would possibly invest in a company like this?

Ignoring how inept they’ve been throughout this whole ordeal, they don’t even have control over their own site! It’s pathetic

Haan, to RedditMigration

Reddit mods caving the second their status as mods is threatened is an absolute embarrassment. Not only do the prove spez right, they also reenforce the notion that Reddit without 3rd party apps is something they can live with - proving the blackouts were unnecessary and just an emotional reaction. What a joke!
