yeah and im a big supporter (well relative to what I see on the internets) but obviously all of it is not attributable to him. All the same there have been more things that actually improve my quality of life over what any other president has done in my lifetime and all in one term with an adversarial congress. I loved obama but man he wasted a nice majority trying to play fair with a bunch of known cheaters.

well you have to compromise to some degree but man obamas first term he was bending over backwards to get their input and sign off and they still fought everything he did tooth and nail. He figured it out his second term but had lost the majority at that point.

Oh yeah if its for biden sure. We thought at first it was just to have a functioning country because then we would have said no. Don't you worry though we will keep it short term so that our debt gets a nice fat downgrade.

Why is pornography (and sexualisation in general) so normalised?

It seems as though we are going backwards. We were doing so well in realising that all human beings are worthy individuals with emotional and intellectual depth, yet now so many of us don’t seem to see any problem with society encouraging many to reduce themselves to sexual objects. Hes fine and your making him a better person. He just is inexperienced. You have to realize that women can get experience almost anytime they want but not so with men and it may have changed but inexperienced women tend to go more with aggressive men (till they learn better). So its much harder for quiet, shy type guys to get the experience they need to be more forward. Its the same for quiet, shy girls but again they will not have a problem finding guys taking the initiative for them.

yeah I think its a fine thing to do but with this kinda thing you really want to flesh it out and make sure it makes sense because if its just. I said so. People can get peeved.

How much does a creator's worldview influence whether you use their tech or consume their media?

Watching the drama around kagi unfold and it has me wondering how much you take into consideration a creator’s view on things like homophobia, sexism, racism, etc. when deciding to use a product. yeah I also do not like the idea of the no compromise attitude in a democracy. Its a cornerstone of how it works. Granted though only when the other side compromises as well. In this case I think its fine relatively speaking.

Its a pretty huge difference to because supplementing with protective ones would be more feasible than clearing out bad ones.

I get you but again some of us just want nothing to do with it and not just them but the saudis and pakistan and all of it. Granted we are in so deep in this region and plenty of americans felt the same as we were getting involved. We are in the chains of our past. Keep in mind we were not looking to get involved in ww2 to rescue legitimate democracies much less the individual people and children suffering. Whats going on over there sucks but it always has and our interference, including now, has not resulted in better outcomes.

for me its lets not do anything. sure if our ships or allies are being threatened we defend that but otherwise nothing. of course I would like us to do the same with egypt and turkey and such but that aint gonna happen. Heck I would prefer the UN only be made up of democracies. How can you have a democratically run institution with non democratic nations.

companies that buy our product are sometimes multinational but I don't really see how it can be used for something nefarious.
