If those Haley primary voters are GOP adherents that had their lives / farms / families / health destroyed by Trump's stupid & evil policies, they likely won't be back to vote for Trump.

And the Orange Moron saying that out loud will make absolutely sure of it. It's literally human nature.

Jaysyn,

The really weird thing is how the Democrats have been beating those polls nationwide by 9+ points since Roe v. Wade was overturned.

It's almost like the media needs a horse race.

Does anyone want to start a "deadpool" on when & which Miami skyscraper collapses first?

It's quite literally inevitable, being built on limestone that is being dissolved by ocean acidification.

How long before Gov. Clownboots signs a law making it illegal for insurance companies to leave the state 🤣🤣🤣

Why Didn't Democrats Do More When They Controlled Both Houses of Legislature, The White House, and The Supreme Court During Obama's First Term?

I’ve been wondering for a bit why during the time the Democrats controlled the legislature, executive, and judicial branches during Obama’s first term in 2008 more wasn’t accomplished. Shouldn’t that have been the opportunity to make Row V Way law and fix the electoral college? I understand the recession was going on but...

This falsehood has been a right-wing talking point all the way back since 2013.

When Obama had "Total Control" of Congress

Lies are easy to get away with if they are repeated often enough and given voice by many different people. Repeat a lie often enough and that lie often becomes conventional wisdom. Repeating a lie doesn't change the lie into the truth, it changes the people hearing the repeated lie. They begin to accept the lie as truth. One huge example: 'Iraq has WMD.'

...

The truth....then....is this: Democrats had "total control" of the House of Representatives from 2009-2011, 2 full years. Democrats, and therefore, Obama, had "total control" of the Senate from September 24, 2009 until February 4, 2010. A grand total of 4 months.

Did President Obama have "total control" of Congress? Yes, for 4 entire months. And it was during that very small time window that Obamacare was passed in the Senate with 60 all-Democratic votes.

Did President Obama have "total control' of Congress during his first two years as president? Absolutely not and any assertions to the contrary.....as you can plainly see in the above chronology....is a lie.

EDIT:
This is the archive of the original chronology link.

"Why is the political party that actively wants to destroy our institutions ok with destroying our institutions?"

That's your question, reframed.

If you want a real answer, it's because Roe v. Wade "was" settled law & the Democrats are a "big tent" party with a lot of disparate views that always don't mesh together. They should be 3 parties working as a collation, but our stupid FPtP election system won't allow that.

Following that, note which party has made RCV illegal in 5 states.

At the same time, Thomas is beholden to the same Federal Corruption laws that any other federal employee is.

Well yes, I didn't expect the police to be students there.

He'll do it, ICE will happily carry it out & SCotUS will back them. If you think they won't, you're either dangerously stupid or lying to yourself.

If you're not a billionaire or a White, Christian Male, you're a fucking moron if you vote for anyone aside from Joe Biden in the upcoming election.

Yes, you too.

This is how Russia makes sure the 2028-29 harvest in the USA fails.

They aren't going to stop using food as a weapon and this is one of our weak points.

Undocumented labor makes the food we have as cheap as it is (along with government subsidies). If that labor pool evaporated we’d see more widespread issues with food rotting before being picked and food not getting processed.

The GOP has literally already done this with those exact effects in Florida, Alabama & Georgia. The farmers I know collectively lost millions. Other farmers had to sell out to BigAg, which was just a bonus knock on effect for these ghouls. I'd bet dollars to donuts that the lion's share of these double digit Haley / GOP protest voters in Red states are in the Ag sector, or some other industry directly damaged by Trump's misrule.

But that is kinda the point of fascism. As long as they have power they do not care about people.

Jaysyn,

LOL, whataboutism.

Jaysyn,

He'll be a senator next FML.

Jaysyn,

LOL, Gov. Clownboots should sign a law that makes ocean acidification illegal before Miami collapses into the sea.

Jaysyn,

Florida as a whole is about to be completely underwater

FYI, north-central Florida is literally the foothills of the Appalachian mountains.

Jaysyn,

Close, it's the lead (poisoning) in the Boomers.

Jaysyn,
Jaysyn avatar

Yes, let's blame the people trying to improve the lives of immigrants in the USA instead of the that are loudly saying they will use DREAM as a weapon.

Because that makes perfect sense (if you want Trump re-elected).

Jaysyn,

IIRC 538 said she had a ~30% chance of losing & she did.

Jaysyn,

Democrats have been beating polls, nationwide, by 9+ points since Roe v. Wade was overturned.

The GOP has lost 17 of their last 20 special elections, even in so called "Red" states.

This has been going on long enough that either pollsters aren't capable of adjusting their polling methods for the new reality or they are targeting polls on purpose to maintain a "horse race".

Jaysyn,
Jaysyn avatar

Absolutely.

A special election (granted it was only 12% of the total population of the district that voted, but that number includes children & non-voters) in deep red Alabama going to a Democrat woman that specifically ran on abortion access may not be a "bellweather", but it's absolutely an alarm for the .

But yes, the beating polls by 9+ points at the ballot box is the important part.

Jaysyn,
Jaysyn avatar

LOL, tell me you don't understand how U.S. elections work without telling me you don't understand how U.S. elections work.

What a paint-chip eating moronic take.

This is legit one of the best games I've ever played.
