Last week a new Firefox Nightly News was published that outlines that “We’re now apparently beating Chrome on the SunSpider JavaScript benchmark!” The provided numbers now show Firefox easily beating Chrome in this decade-old JavaScript benchmark.
I have most of the Fediverse-based account and seem to have just gravitated towards Lemmy over Kbin as found it very confusing, What makes you prefer Kbin over Lemmy or any other Fediverse instances?
tl;dr: after pushing rcs so hard for years, killing hangouts well after forgetting about it, & hiding it from gmail, google now wants you to use its (and google allo's) successor, google chat.
I wouldn't touch a Google messaging app with a ten foot digital pole. Always cursed. And... google... they kill shit so often anything you use today might be gone tomorrow. No thanks. Not wasting my time on that
