It's almost always better to not buy a cheap sex toy. There's no regulation of the industry and many materials in cheaper toys are just straight up dangerous. Here's an article (it's NSFW, there are pictures) that goes over what materials are and aren't safe.
I'm originally from Long Island where we have a cursed lake. The story as it was told to me was that a Native American "princess" fell in love with a man who was either from a rival tribe or was a colonist (it varies on who's telling the story). Her father disapproved of the man and they had to meet in secret. Unfortunately, while crossing the lake to see her one night he ended up downing. In her grief she cursed the lake to take the life of of a man every year. Some variations of the story also have her committing suicide.
"The average person gets 3 vaccines a year" factoid is actually just a statistical error. The average person gets 1 vaccine per year. Vaccine Georg, who lives in Germany and gets 89 vaccines a year, is a statistical outlier and should not have been counted.
I did the math. He got an average of 7-8 vaccines per month, which came out to about 89 per year for the 29 months he's been doing this.
It might be something like Qantas 72 where a fault in a component that supplies vital data to the flight computer caused two uncontrolled drops which resulted in over 100 people getting injured.
So, I’m a big JPRG fan and just playing through Mother 3. I love Mother 2 (aka Earthbound) as well. I love the music, quirkiness, style, pacing, simple yet rewarding tactics in boss battles....
If you're willing to check out non-RPGs, then I highly recommend Star Tropics (which is on the flowchart). The best way to describe it as a cross between MOTHER (setting) and The Legend of Zelda (gameplay). An interesting thing to note is that Star Tropics is a first-party Nintendo game that's never been released in Japan despite being developed there.
Another thing is that there's a point where you'll need to get a password off of the Internet. The game originally came with a letter from the protagonist's uncle that contained the password, which would only be revealed by dipping the letter in water.

There was also Philippines Airlines 434 where components for a bomb were hidden in the culprit's shoes and then assembled on the plane. The plane managed to land safely, but one passenger was killed by the explosion and a number of others were injured.

It's through Proton, but the game runs flawlessly. Do note that you're really going to want a controller for this one. Playing this with a keyboard is a miserable experience. Another thing is that there's an unofficial tool for importing images over your custom graffiti, but it's for Windows and I've never tried it with Wine.

CTGP-7 doesn't care if you cheat in Monster Hunter Stories. Cheat plugins are designed to only work with specific games and won't affect other games. If you need more information you should ask on the official thread on GBAtemp.
How do non explicitly installed package dependencies get updated in Arch? Do they update independently of the package that is dependent on them, or do they get updated when the parent package updates? Or is it some secret third thing?...
In my experience, it's idependently unless updating breaks a version dependency on another package. In that case pacman won't update anything until the issue is resolved. I think I've only ever had this happen with AUR packages.
I've used KDE on a Thinkpad T60, it's about 17 years old, has 3GB of RAM, and a Core Duo. It ran surprisingly well. Replacing the HDD with a SSD can also make a noticeable difference, so you should consider that if you haven't already. I also turned off a lot of the animations and effects for better performance.
I don’t think there is a relation to these two, but they do have some similar characteristics (wanting to create better/perfected beings, though in very different ways), on top of their similar names....
The story I heard was that they were both named after a friend of Gene Roddenberry made during WWII that he was unable to get in contact with after the war.
I would have probably died at birth. The story I heard was that the doctor's pregnant mistress showed up, they got into a fight, and he was so pissed that he left in the middle of his shift. He eventually came back, but by then I had already swallowed amniotic fluid. I ended up spending a few weeks in another hospital after that.
I’m thinking of picking up a used ThinkPad on eBay for cheap to serve as my daily driver. I’ll likely run LMDE, and primarily use it for web browsing, office programs, coding, and FreeCAD. Any recommendations on which model would best hit the sweet spot of capability vs price?
I have a T480 that I'm very happy with. With shipping I paid a little under $250. It came with 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD (which I replaced with a larger one).
I recently got a Sony prs 600 e reader from 2009. The battery is at the end of its life (It lasts about 3 days with heavy reading, and a couple weeks without reading). No backlight, no Wi-Fi, just an SD card that I can load epub files and small PDFs. The screen is slow and the contrast isn’t the best. The “touch screen” is...
The closest I can offer to what you're asking for is that there are some e-readers that use Android. I own a Boox Page, which is one of those, and I'm happy with it. Boox products are a bit on the pricier side, but they do offer features that can be difficult to find on other manufacturers' offerings, such as a micro SD slot.
As a child (like 3-4) I would watch the same movie every day for months. I assume this is an autism thing. In other words, I've probably seen Space Jam over a hundred times. Other movies I've seen way too many times include Babe and Toy Story.
