Yes, the pictures are incredibly annoying. This is a simple change and will be one of the first ones. Now that we've managed to relatively control the situation, I'm taking some time off. I'll be back at full speed starting from Monday morning :)
Monopoly on the Switch. Basically you can take out a Mortgage on a street and sell it to the AI. But the AI seems to be hard coded to immediately pay off said Mortgage. After that you can buy back the street. Repeat until the AI runs out of money.
I am not allowed to do that when playing with other people... somehow...
I'm really skeptical about this. I feel like it could make misinformation even worse. By letting users democratically label things as "true" or "false", you're encouraging users to rely on groupthink to decide what's true, rather than encouraging users to think critically about everything they see. For example, if a user comes across a post that's been voted as 90% true, they'll probably be like "I don't need to think critically about this because the community says it's true, which means it must be true."
I am currently playing through Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal, both are excellent and play great on the deck.
You asked for AAA but I will mention some of my deck favorites from the indie side too: Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gungeon, Hotline Miami 1 and 2 and Monster Train.
As per the body of this post actually. I have played and replayed on my Series X, but downloaded the first on my Steam Deck a week or so back and loved replayed it!
So atmospheric. Infinite is my favourite of the three, though.
I finally got around to playing the XCOM reboot entirely on my Deck and it was a fantastic experience. Those missions are short enough that I could pick it up, play a mission, and then put it down and do something, and come back to it.
FYI: the next major Steam sale starts June 29th- I got all those Arkham games for 8 bucks last year, so make a list and wait a few weeks. You can join the rest of us who have 100 games bought for 80% off and 10% played 🤣
This might be a good thing all around. Bioware needs to focus on DA and ME, they need love and attention to not have another ME:A or Anthem.
In addition 3rd party studios are usually trying hard to prove themselves, depending on the relationship it could end up great. Fallout:NV of course is a great example of a studio handing IP over to a third party.
I probably can't get a new phone super soon, but it's been quite frustrating how little support there is for iOS versions of open source software I've been slowing moving towards or investigating. I absolutely get why though!...
Hello from Lemmy! How’s life there over on the other side on Kbin?

What games do you break?
I was thinking about a few games where I have broken the tone or balance. Wondering what other people have done similar?...

ELI5 How to link Pixelfed and Calckey
Hi there! I am pretty new to the Fediverse, spinning up an account on Mastodon in November of last year, moving to Calckey about 1.5 months ago....
