@qkslvrwolf Most already know this, but fact of the matter is that their target audience - those that they need to reach don't necessarily know this, and as such I think a lot of them think that its better to talk to people in places where they're more likely to be heard by a lot of them
more than when they get shadow banned by space Karen
This is silly. Even with space Karen's limitations, Ukraine-related news, videos, pictures and tweets still reach millions on a daily basis.
And a lot of them haven't even tried other options.
Silly nonsense. What you mean is that they haven't tried your preferred social media network. And I get it, the feddiverse has potential. But let's not beat around the bush here, it is not populated nowhere near enough for Ukrainians to find it worthwhile to cater to it and Ukrainians certainly don't have the duty to popularize it.
And furthermore, look at Telegram. There's hundreds upon hundreds, if not thousands of Ukrainian channels, each with millions or hundreds of thousands of subscribers. I should know, I'm subscribed to a huge chunk of them and its how I get a lot of the Ukraine-related information.
Everything from Gerashchenko, Voyna Real, Unian, Current Time, Novini, Truexa, to official channels like Pershyi, DPSUkr, to all sorts of local channels from Mariupol, Donetsk, Melitopol, and even channels of soldiers that are currently on the front, or their friends who help communicate news or fundraise for whatever equipment/help the soldiers or civilians need.
It's those channels that most people use when they post news on twitter, not the other way around. Twitter is slowly ceasing to be a source of news because its slowly dying.
And don't get me started with facebook pages/groups, instagram pages and tiktok channels. There's plenty there too.
Von I. Ruck.
Over the course of several months, he had been bamboozling his thousands of subscribers on Douyin (China's version of TikTok) with supposedly real-time reports from Ukraine....
A German court has convicted a woman of membership of the "Islamic State" terror organization, crimes against humanity and aiding and abetting genocide. The 37-year-old kept a Yazidi woman as a "household slave" in Iraq.
The court noted that the defendant's husband had brought the victim into the household and beat and raped her regularly. Nadine K. had enabled and encouraged this, the court found.
I'd also like to say that I don't appreciate how BrikoX constantly posts the same articles to multiple magazines/communities at a time. It makes everything redundant. This isn't Reddit and you don't need to be a power user. Pick the best community and leave it at that.
Well, I kinda disagree on this, tbh.
If it weren't for him posting here, I wouldn't come across these articles.
What's wrong with someone posting the same article to different communities? It's not like these communities have the same users.
I really don't see the harm, tbh.

And my conspiratorial side makes me think that they're not here by accident
Oh, found a post by the admin of that instance, it's from a week ago
its the default setting of every new instance to require approval, on my instance i dont require email verification so i thought i could at least have people write something to let me know they’re human. in the end no one uses my instance so I just opened it up, maybe after some registrations ill make it an application again.
Boy oh boy, @gaylord you're in for a fun time there, bud
48k users right now btw, he's getting a lot of bots
From Kenneth Greggs Facebook page. Is he on to something?:
"What's really going on with the offensive? Right now there seems to be chaos and I think this is exactly what our general staff wants to shine.
Why I think that is the next question.
Let's start with what we know.
We follow the NATO doctrine, where the Leopards and Abrahams are designed for massive attacks and penetrate the lines. Right now we pretend to follow the old Soviet doctrine, ie. attack on a broad front."
The more time passes without him posting actual, undeniable proof that he's alive, the higher the likelihood that he got bonked by that Ukrainian fucking Rambo superhero (fr, fr, that one was one of the craziest videos from this war, and I've seen a lot)
⚠️TW/CW: the video includes several Russian soldiers being shot dead at very close range (arm length). It's is not gory or bloody, but it does show them dropping dead after being shot.
The person that most people associate with being Wargonzo is the one from the end of the video.

In your magazine’s settings page, currently titled “Magazine Panel”
I feel like a complete clown, lmao.
I can't tell you how many times I hovered that button but never figured it was a button. I don't know why, but I figured it was just a header for the sidebar. I kept clicking and looking over the drop-down menu from the settings icon/gear icon, and wondering why there's nothing but display-related settings there.
