misterhuh,

That scowl on the orange shitstain makes me so happy. I love seeing him miserable, its like a little light kiss.

misterhuh,

I remember watching a documentary on flat earthers. I can't remember the scientists name, but he said he would be happy to engage them after they answer his question; "What if anything can I possibly say to change your mind", if they gave him a valid answer like show me x data, he would talk to them, if not he made his goodbyes.

So what would possibly change this cabal of intellects mind I wonder?

misterhuh,

Nice link, thanks, always looking for good rss suggestions!

Why does it feel like we're at a point where every social media + other digital media are making shitty decisions and falling apart?

I mean there's Reddit ofc, as well as Twitter in its entirety, Discord is implementing some dumb updates, there are issues with Tumblr as well as everything to do with Meta, and I'm sure there are plenty more (and I haven't even touched other digital media, for example the Sims). Why is it all happening in the span of about a...

misterhuh,

Best thing I've read in awhile, thanks for sharing that with us.

  • misterhuh,

    Thanks for sharing the link.

I found it fascinating the entire epub download is 51mb, so the sum total of all of Jung's works = 51mb. Just an interesting way to think about idea's and value.

Anybody going to the Dead & Co. concert in Philly Thursday? We did Bristow, doing Philly and then Citi. The shows have been "hot as a pistol" for sure.

    misterhuh, to ultrarunning

Let me kick this off and introduce myself.

I've been running, very slowly, for close to 40 years. My 1st "race" was the Perrier 10K in NY Central Park. Back when you had to send in a postcard to enter into a race. While I'm middle to back of the pack at best, I love to just keep running.

That race led to marathons, there were very few 1/2 marathons if I remember correctly, which led to thinking; "hummm I would really like to just keep going". My 1st 50 miler was the JFK 50, 12:38. I did a few 50K's and a few more 50 milers.

I made 2 attempts at 100 miles, the 1st I trained for a 50 and decided to bump up, got 73 miles in and had some freakish structural issue. The 2nd attempt I got 75 miles and due to eating some bad? fish the night before was not eating and puking for hours. I did finally hit that 100 milestone and did a few more.

I have maybe 1 more in me, I'm getting old, but love the people and races, so will keep volunteering.

So whats your stories? Love to get the ball rolling and grow this community.

    misterhuh,

For those folks who find marathons are just not long enough, come on over to https://kbin.social/m/ultrarunning and share your ultrarunning adventures.

    tchambers, to RedditMigration

I just created this kbin "magazine" which is the equivalent of a "subreddit" on the #RedditMigration. Anyone on #lemmy or #kbin can follow it - and add to it - here:

    misterhuh,

@asjmcguire I did the same thing today also! Cheers to the "great leaving"!
