Here's why #GNOME absolutely should drop Xorg support, GNOME is the default #Linux desktop for #Ubuntu, #RHEL, and these are very popular distros for business use, this is the kick in the balls #NVIDIA needs to fix the drivers, business partners won't take NVIDIA's shit for long.
@BrodieOnLinux take the programming socks off and open a window to the real world. it is not NVIDIA it is plain buggy and a downgrade in utility and that you cannot argue.
it'd be nice if my hex editor could automatically keep an eye out for some common file format patterns.
like, a series of integers A, B, C where B is located A bytes after A, C is located B bytes after B (and A+B bytes after A, etc), or a long run of 4-byte numbers that are strictly increasing.
That’s it. I’m throwing in the towel. Linux ricing is not for me. I’m deleting #archlinux and installing #Ubuntu. It’s dumb to think I can just walk off the street and make a better desktop environment than teams of people dedicated to that. Looking forward to actually doing the stuff I want to on my device rather than modifying dotfiles all night.
