The instance has been updated to the latest version of the code. For the next few hours, there might be issues with communication in the fediverse. We are working on it, and everything should return to normal shortly. I'll keep you updated....

This is not an attempt to convert Lemmy users, nor is it a slight on Lemmy. I'm sure there are plenty of reasons why Lemmy works better for some, and I love the fact that we not only have multiple choices, but multiple choices that allow us to interact with each other regardless! It's amazing. Lemmy is great, no shade....
Edit: TIL it doesn't matter if you make your community on Lemmy or kbin, they're federated and will have equal exposure

Does Lemmy strip photo GPS data?
Most mature social networks do remove this information to prevent users accidentally sharing their locations. Can someone positively say whether Lemmy is aware enough to strip extra information from photos?
