I am completely surprised that any GOP congress critters broke from the party line and voted against impeachment for reasonable reasons like a lack of any reason to impeach.

US State Department: If Russia wants demilitarized zone in Ukraine, it should remove its own troops (kyivindependent.com)

U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller was responding to a comment reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) in which Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested creating a "demilitarized" or "sanitary" zone in Ukraine that would put Russian territory and illegally occupied parts of Ukraine out of range of...

If Russia wants a demilitarized zone they should remove their troops and use their territory for the zone, based on the border in 2013, instead of using Ukraine's land.

While true, that doesn't really have anything to do with the filibuster.

The title doesn't say "all" or "any" Hispanic person, because it conveys the main point which is that the law labels only Hispanic people, and not other people, as terrorists. The additional gang affiliation is not nearly as important as the racist basis of only applying the label to Hispanic people.

How about instead of a buffer zone we just make Russia stay within its own borders?

Instead, I try to practice what’s known as radical empathy. This is empathy given to another person without any expectation of receiving it back in return. I try to see the world through someone else’s eyes and use that to find common ground.

That's just empathy. How is basic empathy radical?

What people did he get killed?

You remember the government claiming it, but as far as I know they never released any actual statements that his leaks killed anyone.

https://www.vice.com/en/article/438jmw/official-reports-on-the-damage-caused-by-edward-snowdens-leaks-are-totally-redacted

https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSL2N1BR287/

Both of these are pretty typical of all the articles I have seen, which is the government claiming he did great harm, but no actual examples of getting anyone killed.

Senate presses toward vote on border policies and Ukraine amid Republican backlash (apnews.com)

Senate negotiators on Sunday night released a $118 billion package of border enforcement policy and funding for Ukraine, Israel and other U.S. allies, hoping that the details would win over skeptics. The bill represented a rightward tilt in Senate negotiations over border measures, yet the backlash was intense from...

The tools is good advice most of the time, but not if the tool would fail dangerously. Don't skimp on car jacks, table saws, or other things that are likely to injure you if they fail.

Screwdrivers/drills/hammers/crowbars/etc. don't need to be expensive if you are going to use them rarely as the professional grade is mostly about being used all day every day and being able to survive rough handling by tired workers.

Moms for Liberty Completely Collapses in Former Strongholds (newrepublic.com)

House GOP releases impeachment articles in bid to oust Homeland Security's Mayorkas over the border (apnews.com)

Republicans contend Mayorkas is guilty of “high crimes and misdemeanors” that amount to a “willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law” on immigration and a “breach of the public trust.” Impeachment, they say, is “Congress’s only viable option.”...

Slavery is currently legal a the federal level for incarcerated people as that exception was carved out in the 13th Amendment. That is pretty much maxed out in its current state through disproportionately incarcerating minorities, and is likely to be the primary reason that the US has such a ridiculously high incarceration rate.
