@GryphonSK Some are, yes. But I'm unclear what your point is? If it's that some Jews don't support #Netanyahu, true and add me to that list. If it's that some #Jews want #Israel to mitigate innocent deaths, great and add me to that list as well.
But nearly no Jews are calling for the dissolution of Israel or chanting "From the River to the Sea" or ripping down hostage posters or drawing swastikas on Jewish establishments.
Those are anarchists, "progressives" and anti-semites.
@thetechtutor “Progressives” are against Nazism and antisemitism. Only right-wing propaganda propaganda and projection says otherwise. Personally, I'm against all war, fascism and imperialism.
This is demonstrably wrong and easily corrected by reading. There is virulent #Antisemitism from both sides of the political spectrum. Perhaps it would shock you to know that this has been the case for many decades. But it shouldn’t.
@thetechtutor Well that's disillusioning and saddening. I'm sorry. I didn't know what I was stating wasn't fact. It wasn't an opinion, either, but an error. I can only say that I don't consider antisemites true “progressives.” That's an opinion.
Honesty, I'm a very literal person, and the way words change definitions every day in this century is extremely irritating. I don't even know what to call myself anymore.
@Properganda I'm against the fascist you just posted the images about and the terrorists. I'm not pro any Abrahamic religion. They're all propaganda. I'm against imperialism and fascists. Did you read the Images you just sent me? They support my position and the protests! Thanks! I'll be reposting those!
@GryphonSK Are you ok? Does only cultish agreement or else knee jerk hostility give you satisfaction or sooth your anger? Perhaps you should try thinking about how you engage with others & how that’s working out for you.
@sfehl@GryphonSK
I'm not a Marxist, but I'm aware enough of Marxism to understand that Marxism is not inherently violent or oppressive; many Marxist thinkers and activists have advocated for nonviolent means of social change and have opposed oppressive regimes. I suggest you learn more about Marxism so you can have a proper understanding of it.
@Radical_EgoCom@sfehl@GryphonSK Other than the works of Marx himself, where should we go to find Marxism that isn't Leninism? Seems like once he got hold of it, Communism just became a new suit for a new Tsar. (Even more so under Stalin, and now Putin is trying to emulate Stalin without even pretending to be Communist)
@andytiedye@sfehl@GryphonSK
Hell no, not Trotsky! Anton Pannekoek, Daniel Guérin, Paul Mattick, Cornelius Castoriadis, Murray Bookchin, Sam Dolgoff, and Maurice Brinton are some notable Libertarian Marxist authors to look into to learn about Marxism. Rosa Luxemburg, while not a Libertarian Marxist, is also a very good author who wrote on Marxism and critiqued the authoritarianism and bureaucracy within the socialist movement of her time.
@GryphonSK if a country is truly democratic then nasty policing should eventually be fixed at the ballot box. Countries with serious gerrymanders have serious authoritarian tendencies and it is evident in their suppression of people who they don’t like.
