Ich brauche mal die Hilfe von #FediHelp: Für unser Wohnprojekt nutzen wir Mailinglisten. Man kann also z.b. an alle@projekt mailen und dann bekommen es alle Listenmitglieder. Das ist komplett kaputt, weil je nach Mailprovider die Nachrichten oft im Spam landen oder gar nicht ankommen. Ich weiß auch, warum das so ist, aber frage mich, was man machen kann?

Sind Mailinglisten einfach generell kaputt oder machen wir etwas falsch?

I'm following this tutorial by @Gargron, does anybody know if this is still up to date? I can't get Mastodon to find my test-actor in search. The inbox exists and can be posted to, the actor verifyer tools tell me it that it should be valid. I can see in my logs, that the mastodon instance I am searching for is accessing my actor endpoint, but in search, it tells me nothing can be found

Seit bald 12 Jahren kämpft der Verein 'Trans Rhin Rail Colmar-Freiburg' - auch mit Unterstützung des VCD - für die Wiedereinrichtung einer durchgehenden Bahnverbindung zwischen Freiburg und Colmar.
Am morgigen Sonntag findet eine #Menschenkette vom Bhf Breisach bis zu den Gleisen im Elsass statt. Lasst uns gemeinsam ein Zeichen für die Verbindung der beiden Strecken setzen!
Aus #Freiburg wird eine Fahrradtour zur Menschenkette um 9 Uhr am Platz der alten Synagoge starten.

Bin mal wieder mit dem CD-Problem konfrontiert: habe noch so ca 40-50 CDs, die ich nie anhöre. Habe nicht mal ein Gerät, das die abspielen könnte.
Geschenkt haben will die auch keiner mehr, aber wegschmeißen fällt doch irgendwie schwer.

Auch bei uns im Wohnzimmer läuft der Bahnverkehr wieder an. Auch wir haben aber die Infrastruktur kaputtgespart und deshalb wartet der ICE hier hinter der S-Bahn.

Der Mensch besteht zu 60-80% aus Wasser. Ein mittelständischer Betrieb mit 100 Mitarbeitern kann also ca. 3/4 seiner Stellen streichen und durch gefüllte Regentonnen ersetzen.

Folgt mir für weitere kreative Wege aus dem Fachkräftemangel!

Ich feiere übrigens diese Woche einen Flüchtling weniger im Land: Mein guter Freund Mobariz aus Afghanistan wurde am Dienstag eingebürgert. In seiner Zeit in Deutschland hat er fließend Deutsch gelernt, eine Berufsausbildung abgeschlossen und engagiert sich nun selbst in der Flüchtlingshilfe.
Nun kann er endlich seinen Wochenendtrip nach London machen, von dem er schon seit Jahren träumt. 🙌🎉

Did you know you could control brightness of the red dot on the i of the "ThinkPad" on the top-side of your thinkpad? I sure didn't:

this turns it off:

echo 0 | sudo tee /sys/class/leds/tpacpi::lid_logo_dot/brightness

and this turns it on:

echo 255 | sudo tee /sys/class/leds/tpacpi::lid_logo_dot/brightness

I don't really know what this information is good for, but hey, isn't it awesome to have a 1px display on the outside of your laptop?
