One of the things I love is when a noob starts watching Trek shows for the first time, and they're like, This is so silly, it's ridiculous, that guy turned into a lizard and impregnated his captain, that lady got possessed by a sex ghost that belonged to her grandma, the captain is sorting a room full of floofy guinea pigs, the ship runs on mushrooms, this theme song makes no sense, and I'm just like Yeah, isn't it great?! You either get it or you don't, I don't know what to tell you.

I almost stopped watching Voyager as soon as I started for one reason: Tom Paris. I eventually learned to tolerate him as a less appealing Eddie Haskell.

I’m trying to keep at it, but sometimes it’s just not gonna happen. Guessing the size in square km is kind of helping me with km though. Weights and temperatures I get from work, but metric distances and area are not intuitive yet.
I also do the US states one. The rectangle states still get me but I’m getting better.
Being an adult means realizing that while you love cat-sitting, having an actual cat will not work for you, because OMG, a week and there is so much cat hair! Everywhere!
