I've learned there are several kinds of Cinnamoroll Pedometer pets! There are at least 2 clamp-shell ones. One that is just his face and another with him resting on a cupcake. I wondered if anyone here knew more about them?
Unfortunately not all egg shaped objects fit in trays meant for storing real eggs, but it would be really funny and silly if this worked. It DOES work pretty well for the nanos!!

I definitely have a lot of Tamagotchis at this point haha. I think if I got any more it would be me completing out the rest of the Connection line (I have v3, v4, v4.5) but there's always getting more shell designs...
Ideally at some point I get around to getting all the features I wanted into my own virtual pet and get it a proper device. But it's still cool to play with the originals!
Getting closer and closer to finishing out my #Tamagotchi Osutchi/Mesutchi run. These are the "best" characters you can get, and you have to take good care through three generations of characters to get here. From here I guess I'll just not marry them and then let them get old (which can only happen with these characters) and that'll be as far as I can go. And then I'll focus more on Tamagotchis that are not a >1 month time investment haha.
I've acquired the senior characters and now I can say I ran the #Tamagotchi Osutchi/Mesutchi all the way through! I guess at this point it's a matter of time until either the batteries die or the characters die and then I'm taking the batteries out.
I think that raising the Osutchi and Mesutchi Tamagotchis through all four generations is a bit less fun than I imagined when I started, because the gameplay is really minimal, and after a whole month of doing the same stuff (and playing the not-fun flag minigame multiple times per day because it also punishes for letting the weight get too high, so I don't use snacks to raise happiness) I'm still only in the middle of the third generation and the novelty has worn off haha.
Fortunately my favorite characters on the device are in the first generation, so if I want I can just go get them without much trouble! But they're also easy to get on the much better Connection V4... #tamagotchi
I'm glad Bandai revisited and refined the idea with the Connection/Plus series, where there's a lot more to do and the design is a bit better. A lot of the characters even got carried over!

I'm trying to help my partner repair their Gen 2 with Connection and we're running into an issue with the battery terminal and I'd love some help/advice for how to make the retention bracket more stable since it's kind of flattened with time and doesnt put adequate pressure on the battery proper
I got Pyonkotchi and Pyonchitchi on the original devices they appeared on! On here (Osutchi and Mesutchi) you get them for perfect care in the first generation. I'm glad I was able to accomplish that, though it's pretty easy when you pause them when you can't pay attention to them. #tamagotchi

I got batteries so I'm trying out #Tamagotchi Osutchi and Mesutchi. I really like how the screen looks and it's really high contrast! I wish all the beeps weren't the same pitch since that's a little grating but I don't mind too much.
It'd be fun to go all the way through the different generations; I like having a slow sense of progression in a virtual pet!
It's fun to have virtual pets running during work and having something to peek at as I do other things. I'm trying these four currently. I'd like to use my V3s some more but I'm not ready to marry those off just yet (maybe I will be after I get my favorite character on my own device?)
And over on my Akai I got Ribotchi. The only adult character in the history was one you got with bad care (and the weight was actually maxed out haha) so it's neat that I got the opposite.

Six Tamagotchis 😎
I was going to try and have my two V3s marry (so all six could have a baby on-screen since I thought that'd be funny) but they're not old enough to yet. I can watch them kiss a whole lot though.
I saw a #Tamagotchi Connection version 4 for a price I was ok with and I'm excited to try it out. From reading descriptions of the v4 it seemed like the minigames are actually decent, plus I really want to see a monochrome Tamagotchi with more going on than the v3 I'm used to. It might inspire my own virtual pet a little.
Just had my Osutchi/Mesutchi Tamagotchis mate again, which means I can start the fourth and last generation soon ("TMP4"). TMP4 adults can grow old if you take good care of them and don't mate them, so I think I'll go for that, and consider it the "good ending" of Osutchi/Mesutchi.
And then I can be free of playing that flag minigame multiple times per day. It's barely a game; you just watch something alternate twice a second and press a button while the alternating thing is in the right state.
There's a pair of characters in Osutchi and Mesutchi (Pyonkotchi and Pyonchitchi) that are supposed to correspond to each other, and they appear in Tamagotchi Connection too! But they're each adapted differently, probably because one appears in V2 and one appears in V3.
Here's all my virtual pets so far! There's not really any specific ones I'm aiming to get after these (aside from making my own!!) but there's a lot of them I would get if I saw them for a good price and in good condition.
The reason I have so many Digimon is because I saw they were at clearance prices and that made me feel like if I didn't get all the ones I might want, it might be really hard to get them later on.
