Just got word that Sam Ash is closing in King of Prussia and they're having a liquidation sale. Now, I don't strictly need a double-bass drum pedal in my capacity as a church praise band drummer, but...I mean, c'mon.
@skyfaller fun fact, the triplet bass drum pattern at the beginning of that song is done with a sample and trigger of a Lamborghini exhaust, so I definitely will not be playing Hot For Teacher, at least not authentically 😁
I’ve been ramping up the gigs for the past few years as I try to switch to music full time. Juggling six or so bands and 100+ gigs/year has been pretty challenging. I get a lot of questions about how I manage my time and my calendar. I feel like I have a pretty good system going now, so I wrote about it.
Done with concerts for the year, time for new bridge fitting begins. Old bridge, strings were WAY too close to the fingerboard. Pencil scribblings show the high spots. Should be louder when I'm done. #DoubleBass#SymSat#iLikeToWatch
Quiver buzzed when strings were full deflection +/- (B moves 3/4" or more :-P ) used foam rubber things as deadening standoffs, problem solved #SonicWeapons#DoubleBass
