New #ffxiv bullshit: due to nonsense with switching machines, accidentally queued for Trials with most my hotbar unset, landing me in Ramuh as BLM with just a Fire and Blizzard. Somehow, got two commends out of that nonsense, as no one else remembered to go for the adds.
@TheCrimsonSpark Oh, yeah. I use that all the time. I just forgot to this time after moving BLM from keyboard to controller so that I could play from my Steam Deck.
@mrpablington@Azurakumo Warhammer 40K Boltgun is an unbelievably good game. Enjoying it a ton on my Steam Deck, though it requires some tinkering (reencoding cutscenes) it works pretty much flawlessly after that.
Spark the Electric Jester 3, loads of fun if you like high speed platformers.
Finally, I have yet to start Asterix XXXL Tje Ram from Hibernia, but I loved its predecessor, Asterix XXL 3.
I already read, that people think 2023 was not the stronges year for this genre. But maybe you have still something that surprises you in a positive way or you play and older game again?
@qlp boo. I was playing through the Zelda Oracle games on one of my handhelds, but I'm debating getting a Nintendo sub to play them on my big TV. I would hope/expect those to play without issue.
The few Wii games I have played on the Steam Deck seemed pretty solid so far, but I haven't picked them back up since TOTK came out.
Debating on a story skip for ARR and HW in #ffxiv ... I've never actually don't the story before and I feelmloke Stormblood would be a good place to actually try and start? There's just SO DAMN MUCH!

Seem a lot of you think it’s nice that the Baldurs Gate dev took inspiration from a jrpg. Did the dev choose the correct game with Final Fantasy VII? What are your favorite chracters, character you really like or maybe an well written enemy that you hate?
