Twitter is straight up recommending a space hosted by Richard Spencer. I can't remove this. It's stuck at the top of my timeline
EDIT: I have determined this was because a journalist I was following decided to listen in. (This is a situation where, if you’re reporting, you might want to pull out your secondary.)
For those who may not be aware of this: Richard Spencer, who is now being actively promoted by Twitter, is a Nazi. An actual, sieg-heiling, Hitler-quoting Nazi. See the video below.
I wonder what it would take to convince people to leave Twitter.
@ernie It is clear that the big platforms and the plutocrats are not trying to hide anything any longer. Facebook is openly siding with authoritarians and scammers. Twitter is going down the fascist tube. Dorsey is endorsing crazy red pill content. TikTok is quietly collecting data on all its users for who knows what end.
@jon The seeding links part is important to me too. Often, I need to use it for source reasons as well, or to maintain important professional relationships.

I remain for a dozen good people and to bear witness to what one person can do to a society when he weaponizes the public square against the people, much like trump.
@zoomar Yeah, my thought is that if you don’t have a professional reason to keep an eye on it or engage with people there, you might want to just scale it back.
