Oh look it works again, thought when it wanted to access #X anonymously it didn't work anymore. Apparently it now works again like on #Twitter and you can distribute its anonym here in the #Fediverse over a #Nitter instance. It's more convenient to avoid the data collection frenzy of this #web recording for your #privacy.

Overall, I can recommend the web plugin @libredirect. You can configure it to suit your needs and make the best use of it. It is very comprehensive for all kinds of popular services. I also recommend it for privacy-safe linking.

I would add to this. Blocks and clicks (tracking)ads to poison their data. But the Badger rules!

is imho a great searchengine and there are plenty open instances of you can use.

As far as I know adnauseam uses the ublock Blocklists (editable) so there should be no/less difference. I just like the idea of giving back some noise to disturb their data in the hope that it costs them money to clear them up. It was just ment as a suggestion.

    Thanks 👌🏾.

Additionally, I force to dark mode without add-ons

    Go to about:config

    Search layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override

Set it to 0 to force dark mode

TrackerControl (from F-droid) on Android creates a local VPN and as such all traffic pass through.
It helps to block most apps from ads and tracking. It shows what it does and so increases awareness. It can not catch apps like the Amazon one, which uses the same servers for data and ads, but block other apps to do so. And there are plenty contacting ad or tracking servers without any need.

I'm also a fan of Cookie Autodelete, which aggressively purges all cookies from all sites you haven't explicitly allowed.

With all these add ons you’re gonna stand out so much! Just use ublock and maybe libredirect. That’s all you need
