I’m an instructor of beginner photographers. On Sunday, I send an email with tips, tricks, articles, pictures, etc. Info I think students can use. It’s for both “regular” camera users and those who shoot with smartphones.
There’s mention of things to do where I am, but it’s mostly for beginning #photography students to help them take better photos - It's NOT for advanced shooters. 😃
PBN #71 - "Photographer," spot the leopard, and KUVRD!
Listening to an mp3 of Solid Steel Podcast #71. Which must be at least 15yrs old. And is itself a rebroadcast of a 1988 Kiss FM pirate radio show by Coldcut.
Including adverts from the time, mostly for venues and record shops in London.
It doesn’t look like you can get these MP3s anymore. Wish I’d saved more of them.
Ingenuity Helicopter: Data for Flight #72. Note the 'Attitude' data (yaw, pitch, roll & tilt) was not provided in this JSON release, so are shown as zero values in the table) The plan was a horizontal flight distance of 0 meters (pop-up), but comms were lost during landing and the helicopter flew 10.3 meters to the West. I assume the relatively featureless terrain confused the navigation computer as it did in flight #71. Data credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech #Ingenuity#NASA#Space#Helicopter#Mars
"Forma y orden" by Juan Rodríguez García takes a refreshing new approach to the exploration of order and chaos that seems to be an ubiquitous theme of #GenerativeArt.
The stylized images resemble a match between Andy Warhol's art and IKEA assembly instructions and make us translate abstract concepts into everyday life. Don't some of the outputs remind you of people waiting in your doctor's office or at the district office?
Forma y Orden #19, an artwork consisting of dissolved grid of stylized, tilted and layered folding chairs, the outlines of human figures sitting on most of them in various orientations.
Forma y Orden #121, an artwork consisting of a grid of 2 x 2 stylized, identical folding chairs, the outlines of human figures sitting on three of them in various orientations.
Forma y Orden #71, an artwork consisting of a dissolving grid of uncountable, stylized, identical folding chairs in various sizes, states of rotation and distortion, the outlines of human figures sitting on about half of them in various orientations.
