On this day (November 4) in 1988, John Carpenter's THEY LIVE was released.

Did a recent rewatch of this recently and it holds up. Disturbingly accurate as to what's still going on in the world today (and maybe has always and will always go on in the world, with corruption, greed, etc.)

A fascinating, terrifying film.

A still from They Live showing that money really says This is your god on it.

Need a classic, ‘b’ horror film or two for Halloween, or just movie night? Love vampire films? How about 31 titles from the past, and countless other horror genres, all on one site? Uh-huh. I know, why didn’t anyone tell you about sinistercinema.com before? It’s only the world’s largest catalogue of campy, b-films in all genres, including westerns, real crime, you name it. But their horror collection is massive and unmatched on the Net. Movie night will never be the same. My buddy Greg, who founded and runs the site, can chat with you, in detail, about all the many titles he offers.
