I couldn’t find my Apple Pencil pro for my new iPad Pro.
Went to find my and nothing there about the Apple Pencil pro.
This morning I found it had fallen off an end table into a dry fountain!
I called Apple support and they were looking into it. When I put the pencil back on the iPad, one of those first time feature pop up screens showed up.
In it was to add Apple Pencil pro to find my. It must have been a fix in iPadOS 17.5.1 that installed last night.
The pop up also had me demo the squeeze tool feature. Do you think #LineaSketch will make use of the feature?

I did also ask about the ability to find the Apple TV remote. It shows up in control center when selecting which Apple TV to connect to. It works ok. #AppleTVRemote#FindMy
Gotta hand it to #Apple#findMy. Lost my AirPods in a giant ball pit and was able to locate exactly where to dig it look for them. Was shockingly accurate.
I'm following my best friend - from afar using my iPad and #findmy - as he drives.
I keep yelling out stupid things like "Trailer park to your right" and "Mingo Swamps on your left!" [real place!] - and it's about this time I realize: I have no life! 😳
I can’t speak to the intentions or inabilities of airlines and airports, but I can tell you that #airtags and #findMy by Apple are “indispensable” tools for any traveler. I’ve seen it in action for myself and a friend this month.

The Find My backpack is now available! While this is interesting, pretty cool, and sets the stage for more Find My integrated products, I have one question….
Why not just put an AirTag in your current backpack?
#iOS17 will finally introduce #FindMy device sharing. I hope we will be able to share #AirTags, which I assume will be the case as shown on animation from #wwdc2023 into presentation. 🙌
My #Stuff column this week looks into Google and Apple tracking tech kit – and cooperation that will never happen. It also features a visual of some headphones hiding behind a shrub.
I get that it’s hot right now, but man, the user experience of LLMs being this bot you type text to seems like a huge step backwards compared to just integrating these AI features natively into products.
