I'm 48.27% into my ARC of MOONSTORM by @deuceofgears and I love it so much 💙 the characterisation is top-notch, and taking the time away from 🍉 news and household work (chronic illness flare-up! again!!) to read this depiction of war and trauma is, oddly, proving to be rather cathartic. This is my first read of a book by this author, although I'd heard of them before, and now they've got my attention.

Hey bookish folks, I'd love your help! How do you find new-to-you books to read?
I'm trying to figure out where to advertise my books now that I have a fourth book out ( https://buy.bookfunnel.com/vxvlyi6b0v ). I'm rather unknown so can't spend big $$ but it's hard to know where is best to find readers. And yet, it's hard to have a budget without readers, too!
Looking for more stories? These 47 #fantasy books are all themed with friendship. Awesome friends on an epic quest? Yes! Found family rescuing one another? Absolutely. Best friend betrayals? Also a thing...
These books are all offered free for the month of January so check them out!
I can't remember if I've tooted about this before, but even if so it's worth tooting again.
Alix E. Harrow has an amazing fantasy short story featuring the best superheros: librarians. The page includes a narration of the work if you'd rather listen to it instead.
Just finished Starling House by Alix E. Harrow and, again, she blows me away with her writing. This is one of my favorite books of 2023.
A perfect fantasy/horror(?) with characters that are so viscerally real you can't help but think that it's fact not fiction. Bonus: strong female protagonist and queer representation.
This is the book that I thought Stephen King's "Fairy Tale" would be, but that one turned out to be a disappointment given the unrealistic protagonist.
