Hab gerade das #TedLasso Finale gesehen. 😢 Fuck wird mir die Serie fehlen. Die war einfach in jeglicher Hinsicht perfekt. 💚
Definitiv mein wichtigstes Streaming-Abo.
I am not a football fan, but I found myself enjoying Ted Lasso. His sage advice not only made me chuckle, but often provided insight and cause for reflection.
SPOILER ALERT: If you haven't watched the #TedLasso series finale, do not proceed. But if you have, here are 10 things you might've missed,.
Mae straightens a picture of a native American on the wall of her pub. It is, in fact, the same picture that Sam straightens in the Cheers finale (and George Wendt, A/K/A Norm, is Jason Sudekis's uncle.)
I think maybe everything between when Ted shakes the snow globe and when he wakes up in Kansas City might be not a flash-forward, but a dream sequence. A collective one, possibly, but overall Ted’s best hopes and dreams for his friends, rather than what happens next. My main reason is (no spoiler) a certain scene with a lot of digital backdrop, and his absence from it. It’s not my only reason - the photo in the pub is another, some details here and there. #TedLasso
With all the nastiness all around us, #TedLasso has been a feel-good Wednesday night sanctuary. What a great final episode. I'm really going to miss this show.
If you watched the #TedLasso finale, you saw the show bid a fond farewell to the tune of Father and Son by Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam. It is a song that gets to me every time because, believe it or not, it was used in the soundtrack of one of the greatest TV ads of all time.
Here's how I would've ended the show (not that anyone's asking): The big match is tied, and Jamie Tartt in slow motion starts to kick what could be the winning goal--and the screen goes black. Then we see Ted at home playing with his son before the final credits roll, never learning who won the game because, as #TedLasso says, “Success is not about the wins and losses. It's about helping these young fellas be the best versions of themselves on and off the field.”
Also? I don’t give a flying fuck about your hot take on how bad #TedLasso S3 was. You’re definitvely wrong. It was awesome, fun, heartfelt, funny and made perfect plot sense. GTFO and let us enjoy the series send off without all the negativity. Ted would give you a hug and forgive I’m just gonna give you the bird 🖕
