I sucessfully reverse engineered #WorldOfWarcraft 3.3.5a to fix the awful scaling of the damage numbers that was bothering me since ever.
Turns out, they have a flag called EGxStringFlags_FixedSize which wasn't used. It disables the scaling and makes the numbers appear a little smaller but crystal clear! Wohoo!
So reminiscing about Argent Dawn... made me think about something. I am sorta shocked that something like this does not already exist but...
Ancestry.com but for Video Games. You would create a profile, add games you played, then add characters or organizations you were part of in those games... and choose which you would allow matches on or not.
@belghast Huh interesting. Seems kinda reasonable, especially if you hook into igdb to source game information.
I’ve got some old guild mates from the vanilla #WorldOfWarcraft days on Dragonblight-US that I wouldn’t mind reconnecting with, but what are the chances that it’d get big enough traction for people to see it and connect?
This would be a fun home-from-school-for-the-summer project, but those days are like 30 years behind me.
Decided to get the dungeon quest out of my log. Also trying to do Raszageth. Which... I think I won't be able to do that until I can solo her in a couple years. #WorldOfWarcraft#Warcraft
alright :) In half an hour, I will go live on the game4access channel to play the game that started it all for me stream-wise, #worldOfWarcraft Classic. We'll be playing this game completely without sight, looking at the various addons that were created to help fully blind players do this while going through the recently released tutorial experience for it all :) Come hang out, ask questions or just goof off over at https://twitch.tv/game4access
Just did the three crafting orders on my leatherworker. AFTER I accepted the weekly quest, obviously. Just kidding. I forgot to accept the quest first. :picardfacepalm: #WorldOfWarcraft#Warcraft
