1/This morning I have come on social media to see a deluge of videos documenting the militarized police in this, supposedly, "free" country with the freedom of speech enshrined in the Constitution, brutalizing peaceful protesters simply because the government doesn't like their speech.
This makes my fucking blood boil! As if funding a #genocide was not bad enough. Now, the government has deemed anyone who doesn't wholeheartedly support it to be a #Nazi.
2/I'm honestly, ashamed to have to call myself an American citizen this morning. I thought our country was better than this. Now, I am coming to learn the reason for that is the propagandized "History" we are all taught in school. We have a sordid [not all that distant, either] past of being on the wrong side. Maybe the #zoomers can turn this place around.
don't ever fucking tell me Occupy Wall Street #OWS was all in vain. it was and is still part of a continuum of liberation and the younger generations know that.
i believed in #Millennials in 2011; i believe in #Zoomers even more now. these are majority working class, working poor & BIPOC generations. they now the enemy and we will all win.
Oh, the comedy of it all. Snivelers exclaiming, "The horror, the horror", as if they're actually gasping for their last, selfish breaths, clinging to their maxed out credit cards that are maxed out coz their mommies and daddies stopped paying the balance on, lolz....
Good job, The Guardian. I would never have heard about this if it weren’t for you taking it down, and now I’m actually in the position of looking at something Osama Bin Laden wrote and saying, “Well, he’s not wrong….”
Does no one teach kids about The Streisand Effect any more?
Upon first reading this, I wasn’t impressed. I was like, “Does this mean support for it is dropping from Spring to Fall?” But no, these are the numbers for ifgenerative AI was outright banned in school.
75% of students would risk getting caught using generative AI.
This is brilliant. Simon Harris invented a mock campaign to build a wall in the English Channel to stop the boats. Now #UKIP have adopted it as official policy. #Zoomers
An #influencer went viral for condoning #Shein’s labor practices. The real problem is much larger
"Some workers,... spend 18 hours a day churning out hundreds of pieces of clothing in exchange for a few cents a #garment. In May, U.S. lawmakers asked the Securities and Exchange Commission 👉[#SEC] to crack down on the fast-fashion brand for failing to disclose the possibility of forced labor practices."👈

Young people are now consistently more distressed than our elders, a fact whose daily confirmation through experience is the only thing keeping us from recognizing its...
