This is probably going to be a longshot, but I want to get an idea of what its like to be a #accountant from the #Blindness prospective. I have heard that #Blind accountants exist within the profession but I'd like to ask some questions about how this could work and how successful I could be. If someone is willing to talk to me about this, I'd love to have an informal interview. Please boost if you could, I would very much like to get as much knowledge as possible. #Accounting, #FinancialAccounting, #ManagerialAccounting
@gocu54@serrebi Education is also a concern. There are different roads to accounting positions. My friend got an MBA, then later got involved in accounting. @occirol You can't or at least probably shouldn't represent two points of view or two entities' ledgers in one journal. It seems the truest accounting is that it's half your expense, half a receivable from the other. Consider
Does anyone know of a stand alone desktop accounting program that does not have to have a monthly subscription? QuickBooks has ended theirs. I won't use a subscription based accounting program
To get affordable rent in SF you pay in flesh and blood pretty much.
Treasure Island was cheaper than the city proper, but then you get all the power outages, and radiological survey crews coming through the house with Geiger counters... 😆
