We should do that thing where when you like or boost something someone else has boosted they get a little notification, "Hey, I liked that thing you boosted"
I've been taking it easy from #mastodon for a while. A kind of #socialmedia overload. I'm here more often than I post, but I'm still here. I'm just focusing on my writing. I've opened a new newsletter on #substack called The Taoist Corner, and it's going pretty well, I feel. I enjoy reading without wondering if my post is going to be #boosted on #medium. Got my #COVID#booster about 27 hours ago. Side effects have not been nearly as bad as with the previous 4 boosters. No fever/chills, no body aches, no muscle/joint pain. I have been able to do my usual weekend activities. Win! #Boosted
@gedeonm Got mine at 3PM Thursday. Last night's sleep was not great (fever symptoms) and today I'm sore and groggy, but I'd not have it any other way! #boosted
The CDC has officially recommended the RSV vaccine. If you are getting the feeling that we are in a more serious situation with #Covid than we have been led to believe...you are correct. The powers that be globally have pandered to the anti-maskers and anti-vaxers for over a year and can no longer ignore the reality.
Be responsible. Get #Vaccinated and #Boosted. Wear your #Mask everywhere. Be forthright in letting people know if you have been exposed and / or tested positive. Be an adult.

I recognize this is a very long shot, but weirder things have worked out. Does anyone have any photographs from Anchorage, Eagle River, Wasilla, or Palmer, Alaska taken between late 2001 to mid 2002 that might include lamp posts?

Weird. I can't unfollow certain people! They're in my #Mastodon page on the web. When I click their icon it says #Follow, not #unFollow. I don't remember following, but I might've. There's no "X #boosted" on the #toot. #Server version v4.1.2. Anyone else have this issue?
Edit: Found the issue... accidentally clicked "follow" button on hashtag when I was trying to click "back" in web interface! That really should change!
Question for #Mastodon savvies:
If follower decides to hide #boosts, will it also eliminate my own #boosted replies from their feed or not? 😳
I just find myself very comfy interacting with other posts, can't help but to give some advice and boost it if it's share-worthy. If turning off boosts makes my replies not appear for follower, well, it's pretty unfortunate. I don't want them to miss out, but I'm also not comfortable with making something a thread of its own when original thread already exists. 🤔
