I think I want one of those Actually Good big Papasan chairs, any leads? Just needs to hold an adult human + 3 cats, cozy as fuck, durable, doesn't look like shit.
I stole a chair in a classroom yesterday. It's the only chair I've sat on in weeks that doesn't make my sciatica worse.
As I was afraid to go to campus jail because of it, I replaced it with an old chair that was in my office and that I didn't use.
Look at it with its nice blue tones and the exact right amount of softness (it's actually hard but with a very thin layer of foam or something like that).
If you saw my office right now, you'd laugh. I'm literally playing musical chairs as sitting on any one chair for too long becomes excruciatingly painful. I usually alternate with long walks on campus, but it's difficult to do when I'm busy like during midterms - that's now.
Next up, we have something I would never buy but it made me giggle thinking about it appearing somewhere on Buffy. Like Spike would love this! 😀 (I'm talking about the first chair, obviously)
I need a really good READING chair. Like fall-in-and-melt but good for reading. I'm thinking in the library.
I'm not sure about a lazy-boy kinda thing for the living room, I might just get a nice sectional and call it done. It's not a huge living room so one large sofa with two axes would take up most of the space.
But I have a library I'd like to start using, and while I might put a desk & PC chair in it, that's just no good for reading books
