I'm far too tired to cook dinner today. I ordered delivery food from Ferris' downtown. Got their bouillabaisse - local fishes, shellfish, tomato fennel broth, parsley, saffron aioli & fingerling potatoes. They usually deliver a good sized serving - I usually have enough for a late night leftovers snack.

We stopped in #UnionBay along the way home yesterday. Bought 4 lbs of #ManillaClams from #FannyBaySeafood store - located below gas station/store/cold beer & wine/Subway beside the Buckley Bay ferry terminal.
Current market price for their #clams is $8.50/lb.
Boiled up today. Ate the clams with #NuocCham sauce, with fresh squeezed lime/pulp & fine minced Thai chilies.

I was last week old when I learned that clams have two siphons (incurrent and excurrent), and have very active cilia at the ends of those siphons… the bucket contains littleneck, Manila, butter, and geoduck clams (the geoducks were placed back).
