Russia has fired the navy chief because the Black Sea Fleet continues to lose warships
Cmdr. Nielsen explains why maritime drones are such a difficult challenge not only for Russia but also for other navies

Video of the destruction of the Russian patrol ship "Sergei Kotov"
On the night of March 4-5, 2024, the special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense "Group 13" successfully attacked the patrol ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet "Sergey Kotov ".

mission for the day. Covers both the in/out routes for their strike/CAS while also protecting bases like Yeysk or the #Kerch Bridge.
The Russian occupation has deployed a smoke screen around the Kerch Bridge. An air alarm has been triggered in the Russian-occupied peninsula. Missiles can be heard.
Deadly weather that pounded the Black Sea region on Nov. 27 in what some have dubbed ‘storm of the century’ has washed away Russia-installed barriers intended to protect the Kerch Bridge and Sevastopol bay, OSINT researchers said on X.
May God 🙏 🤲 ensure that this mighty storm washes away at least a part of the filthy Fourth World quality bridge over the #Kerch Strait in temporarily-occupied #Crimea, that was built by the bloodthirsty genocidal ruZZkie invader savages! 😡
Artic #Pantsir AD in camouflage was stuck in Sochi near the beach. Location was found. Coordinates 43.62903804917847, 39.69294908889511 Covers #Putler’s residence in Bocharov Ruchey. 🎯

Ukrainian forces hit a shipyard in temporarily occupied #Kerch on #Crimea, likely destroying another Russian warship. Russia's Ministry of Defense claims a ship was “damaged.” 🚭 #Ukraine
The Russian Karakurt-class missile corvette "Askold" has been destroyed by three direct missile hits while in the Zalyv shipyard in temporarily occupied #Kerch, #Crimea. It was launched only in September 2021 and had been used to fire Kalibr missiles on innocent civilians in #Ukraine.
On July 4th, 2017, Kim Jong-Un declared mockingly that he had a “gift package” for America’s Independence Day: an intercontinental ballistic missile that could strike Alaska.
Destroying the #Kerch Strait Bridge would be necessary to cut off the supply of weapons, ammunition and fuel into #Crimea.
Similarly, the recent attacks on vessels near #Sevastopol are designed to destroy transport ships that could ferry supplies if the bridge is destroyed.
However, it’s unlikely the #ATACMS would be that effective if fired directly against the Kerch Strait Bridge.
Russia's illegally-built Crimean bridge, which connects occupied Crimea to Russia's Krasnodar Krai, is still unable to function normally after a July explosion damaged the bridge, Southern Operational Command's spokesperson Natalia Humeniuk reported on Sept. 10.
New satellite imagery confirms a Ukrainian claim that Russia is sinking vessels along the Kerch Bridge to form a protective barrier against future uncrewed surface vessel (USV) attacks.
The low-resolution image, captured Tuesday by Planet Labs, appears to show seven partially submerged vessels arrayed a little more than a tenth of a mile apart just south of the bridge.
Russia is apparently trying to protect the Kerch Bridge with a new strategy after several successful attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces: the Ukrainian military intelligence service HUR says that the Russian army wants to sink several ferries in the Kerch Strait to block the access to the bridge by water. A ferry has already been sunk, reports the HUR. At least six wanted to sink Russia in total.
