#17 - MAISON, released on their 2nd full-length studio album "Apocalypse: Save us" on April 12, 2022. It's the start of the Apocalypse era, probably a trilogy. The lyrics, as I understood them, are basically about human made climate change. Maison is french for house, in this case would be all our house, the Earth. 💞
#14 - BOCA, released on the 5th mini album "Dystopia: Lose Myself" on April 17, 2020. It's the second part of the Dystopia trilogy. Boca is spanish for mouth and this song continues the story about how words can hurt people. It's a really pretty MV and their most viewed one 👄❣️
No, you're the one who after @sariash brought up #JHNStudio, had to check out their #YouTube page to view all their fantastically done #chiptunes covers of #KPop songs.
#11 - SCREAM, released on February 19, 2020 on the album "Dystopia: The Tree of Language". It was the first kpop MV I ever saw, and the beginning of my journey... It's the beginning of the Dystopia trilogy and, while the story is about a witch hunt in the Middle Ages, it seems to be a metaphor for online hate in social media.
First track: #Allergy. Track is all about insecurity about your looks and is so very well done. I like the subtle change in style from their previous album.
MDMRN Twin 1: Are they supposed to be fighting people?
MDMRNia: What's the word for after the world ends?
Me: Post-apocalyptic?
MDMRNia: Yea, that. This video is like that.
MDMRN Twin 2: What was that song about?
Me: The women in the video not feeling pretty because of how others look. And all of them feel that way and say they hate themselves because of it
MT2: But they are pretty.
Me: Yes
MT2: But they think they're not
Me: Yes
MT2: ... (thinking)
Me: ...
MT2: Play it again, please
Me and MDMRN Twin 2 watch the video -
Me: So? What do you think.
MT2: - She walks over to me, puts her hands up like little horns and says deadpan - Daddy. I'm a villain. Unforgiven.
