It's been close to six decades since a #SmallTown #BritishColumbia #HighSchoolBand featuring a young Jim Vallance bought their first six-string & nearly 40 years since the #song Vallance co-wrote, inspired by his early #musical memories, became a #RockClassic.

The song was Summer of '69, a single from #BryanAdams' 1985 Reckless album that became a hit around the world and remains a radio staple.
