#DailyOwlUpdate - Mama delivered breakfast a little before 8AM and then took off shortly thereafter with a snack for herself in her beak.
I'm seeing two owls at one time pretty consistently (I'm going to say they are Oscar and Poppy) and the third doesn't get quite as much face time (calling the last little one Odette).
I love the whimsical terms of venery for groups of animals and have an ongoing series of #linocut#termsOfVenery prints. For my parliament of owls I made two columns of local owls - you can decide for yourself which are the government an which the loyal opposition in this parliament! Specifically chose some gothic #lettering and Owl with 👁 and 🪶
I haven't been around as much lately because I am work on a HUGE project for Indigenous Diabetes Health Circle (IDHC)...Last year they licensed 6 of my owls! They've come back to me for 6 new images featuring canoes. I am doing ALL custom pieces. A busy, but super happy artist. :)
