Absolutely series. Partly the #WebSerial format, lending itself to sequels and spinoffs, but I also like pulling characters I enjoyed back into service. Using a multiverse mechanic. Be it from prior stories, or roleplay sessions, or whatever.
It's even kind of sad to me, in the few short story stand alones that I have done, that some characters have essentially departed for good.

After fleeing inside an inconspicuous tunnel, Luca and Cody fall from the sky and find themselves in a world unlike anything they’ve seen before. Flying whales, monstrous cats, and a certain green rabbit to help our heroes face danger.
Chapter 3 of Moonlight Blade is live. Chapter 4 debuts on December 29th, 2023.
Looking to dive into some Kindle Vella stories? There are 13 #sciencefiction and #fantasy stories collected here: there's action and adventure, historical fantasy, mythology, samurai + ninjas, romance, superheroes, epic fantasy, and more.

Luca’s novel, combined with a mysterious pendant dropped by a certain green bunny, may have more connection to Luca and his father than he’d thought at first.
Moonlight Blade debuts on Silver Claw November 14th, 2023. That’s a little over a week away with episode one, and continuing on a bi-weekly basis up to episode 6. This is a long project that’s years in the making and I can’t wait to introduce the world of Arcana and the Polaris Universe.
Going "Epsilon Project" again (for other WIP, see my profile). As it is a #WebSerial tale built on the fly, the antagonist is as yet unknown (if there even is one).
However, Part One had Angel wrap up a prior case. That antagonist saw her as a nutty animal lover (absolutely), an annoying busybody (not wrong), who was not very bright (hugely incorrect) and overly gun happy (depends on Angel's mood).
I'm Greg, I go by math-tans because I've personified math functions for over a decade. I teach high school math and have a young daughter.
I have one short story published in an author collective. But most of my work is serialized, and on the web. I trend urban fantasy and science fiction, often with time travel and f/f romances.
1/ so, re: web serial novels: you don't see this much in the English-speaking world, but in China and Japan, web novels are often highly accessible in ways that traditional novels are not thanks to dedicated online platforms like Qidian and Shousetsuka ni Narou with MASSIVE platform effects, but the format and the audience it attracts often necessitates a "numbers go up" plot structure that is justified by plot devices like faux RPG systems, cultivation levels, etc.
