The report hasn’t actually been signed off on or released yet, but Lab Corp put it in their portal for the Halo Imaging doc … & that means I have it, too! I think the hemosiderin-laden macrophages are from my lung issues. Why that would show up in my thyroid, I do not know—& also, since they’re not being caused by cancer, I’m wondering if my thyroid symptoms indicate Graves? I don’t know. I guess I will once they release the report to my doc & I speak with/ her.

@kbeninato My sister, who lives in LA, says TX & LA are in a contest to see which state can be the most vile & hateful. I agree, but I’d add a couple of adjectives to that. Her daughter, my niece, just finished her junior year in high school. We’re all trying to figure out to where (meaning which country) we’re going to move her when she graduates.

It’s thread time!

I made the best pot of I’ve ever cooked today. I didn’t use a recipe, so I don’t have measurements for you—just keep tasting as you go. I started with a pot of chicken stock & added a couple of healthy splashes of low sodium soy sauce, a big spoonful of garlic chili sauce, a couple of big spoonfuls of minced ginger, about the same amount of minced garlic, black pepper, paprika, a little Basque seasoning (I put it in everything), Chinese 5-spice, some parsley, +

some cilantro, some red chili flakes. I let that simmer for a little while, & then added a bunch of shredded fresh cabbage, a bunch of shredded fresh carrot, & a bunch of chopped fresh scallions—& then I let that simmer (stirring regularly) for about 3 hrs. I adjusted seasonings, & when I had it all tasting just right, I add a bunch of fresh spinach, a dash of sesame oil, & couple of bags of frozen Asian dumplings (I use Bibigo Mandu Bulgogi chicken dumplings) & let it cook +

HCB sent me a recipe for artichoke. I love artichoke, & I was w/ her the 1st time I ever had them (at Baba Yaga in Houston--gawd, I loved that restaurant). It was a b-day lunch, & it's kind of wild anything tasted good that day, bc I had the worst hangover I'd ever had in my life. In fact, I'd woken up on HCB's bathroom floor that morning, freaking out, believing I'd gone blind ...

bc the black midi skirt I'd worn the night b4 was up over my head & I was still too hammered to realize it. +

The whole server migration from past night turned out a little different then I wanted, in total I could only cut about 30-50 euros per month from the main server cost

I did had to upgrade since it does seem like we need the power :blobcatgiggle:

But.... it wasn't for nothing!

Currently we are "future proof" with the latest software, both front and backend. The previous server was literal 4 years old :catblush:

So a little costs cut plus a huge software improvement
