Interesting point:

Using copilot or even chatbots to (help with) writing code means you don't have to look on stackoverflow anymore.

Which drives you out of this community—you don’t go there for help.

Which also means you're not contributing to this community—you don't go there to help.

So in the end, it renders the community superfluous. It essentially destroys this community

I’m looking at a paper that discusses the most suitable resolution for scanning documents. The 10-page PDF is almost 90 MB in size. Why? Because the authors did experiments with different resolutions… and the table that lists the characteristics at the various resolutions includes the actual scanned page at that resolution (shown at about 2 cm × 3 cm). ⇢

An die Fachleute(Ärzte, Pflegepersonal, Physiotherapie) meiner timeline. Wenn nach Knochenbruch und OP sowie 6 Wochen Abrollen und 4 Wochen 50% Belastung von Auflasten die Rede ist, bin ich dann "gesund" arbeitsfähig, Rad fahr fähig? Oder dauert es noch?

@UweHauck Bin kein Physio, habe nach Riss aller Bänder im Sprunggelenk mit 6 Wochen ruhigstellen (keine OP), gesagt bekommen: bis alles — auch im Kopf das Vertrauen in den Fuss — wieder ist wie vorher, dauert es 1 Jahr. Bin jetzt 4 Monate nach Unfall und muss zugeben, dass es vermutlich stimmt

Da jammert die Post, dass niemand mehr Karten und Briefe schreibt und sie deswegen Porto erhöhen müssen. Aber in so Grossstädten gibt’s zwar überall Postkarten, aber dort dann kaum Briefmarken und auf keinen Fall fürs Ausland. Nur in der Post, die findet sich immerhin, weil gross mit „Postbank“ beworben. Wenn ich die Karten aber nicht in der Schalterhalle, sondern gemütlich im Café schreiben will — wo bitte Briefkasten?

@oe_simon Bin etwas spät, aber falls Du noch rechnest: wir haben die zu konfirmierenden Nichten gefragt, was sie sich wünschen bzw. vom KonfGeld kaufen möchten. Und dann entweder alles (ne bestimmte Uhr) oder einen Anteil (für ne schon ausgesuchte Reisetasche) geschenkt

Ohne die Antwort hätte ich Zustupf für Fahrschule oder n ordentlichen Töffhelm (falls das Kind mal von jemand mit Vespa abgeholt wird…) geschenkt.

(bin aber nur die angeheiratete Tante :) )

tag 3 von voraussichtlich 16 mit einer gipsschiene. eigentlich wollte ich gar nicht wissen, dass man einen radiuskopf im ellbogengelenk hat, aber wenn man sich blöd mit dem fahrrad langlegt ... 🙄
kleiner trost: es war der linke ellbogen, und ich bin rechtshänderin, und ansonsten ist nichts passiert.
