    @caseyliss Can I bother you for one ffmpeg question just to compare? Assuming you convert stuff into h265 using the libx265 codec: do you use the -crf option to set a certain quality? I tried going up quality wise from the default (28) a bit (like 25 or 23) but I didn’t notice the improved quality at all and the files were so much bigger..

    @gocu54 @lisamelton Cut the carrots at a bias to maximise surface area and half the broccoli florets

    Cut the cabbage into eights or however big you can fit in the pan.

    Rinse lightly with tap water, pat dry and nuke the veggies in a bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds and save the veggies juice.

    Then add the veggies to a cold pan flat surface down and turn the heat to medium, sprinkle salt and as soon as they start to shrink add a splash of olive oil and continue to char them and then flip.

    @nicklockwood @harshil @steve @Migueldeicaza being the new C++ to me, implies that it will eventually be as big a disaster to the world as C++ was.

    Rather I would like us to ask if this is the solution, which allows us to finally shot C++ in the back of the head, then get on with rewriting everything.
