After 6 months, I've had to resubscribe to Adobe PS. I work with too many people who send me PS files and there is no alternative that can open and save them reliability. It sad how many "helper" apps Adobe installs and how often they try to connect to the internet. I block them all, but it's scary. I have to unblock them every 30 days. Please do not suggest alternatives unless you know for a fact they load and save .psd files seamlessly. Do not suggest GIMP or I block you.

any hardware device that requires a mobile app to work should be forced by law to release open source drivers for device in case app stops working. There's going to be a lot of gadgets that will be dead within a few years. I feel that's more important than "everything usb-c"

the festivals theme is "freedom"

is animal ethics really something where philosophy can progress?

like all the "newer" arguments, feel more or less similar to the "old" ones.

the only real way I see is to interdisciplinary combine it. Like "Zoopolis" did with political theory.

Am I the only one who unequivocally thinks that philosophy has made progress? Perhaps I have a different definition of what progress means, but surely I can't be the only one?

The number of theories and arguments that philosophers uncovered, as well as the clarity and breadth of their analyses, is certainly progress.
