After playing Baldurs Gate 3 for like 8 hours i conclude that I both love and hate the game. The setting, the RPG elements, the story is great, but fighting is absolutely annoying. Anyone managed to actually beat the Emerald Grove fight? 😅

Apparently, #MySQL quickly becomes slower once you reach a dozen of million records and search through them. Even with indexes.
So I looked into #Clickhouse. The same query on the same dataset only takes about 1/10 of the time. Impressive! 😯

Next week @cloudhiker will get a serious speed boost!

Every time I work with #Laravel #Livewire, I spend significantly more time reading and trying to understand the documentation, than with every other #PHP tool or framework. The amount of edge cases you run into is frustrating, and it feels like you are basically lost if your use case is just a bit special.
Can’t be the only one with these problems.
