#imnotsayingimoldbut I used to visit this theme park when it was open! When I used to visit in the late 90s and earliest 2000s there were different rides. The big rollercoaster was totally different when I was a kid, I never got to ride this newer one!
Exploring #abandonedplaces is a chance to take a brief step into the past, to glimpse scenes that are frozen in time.
This #abandonedhouse is a relic of a bygone era, untouched and forgotten. It had been abandoned for years, and is filled with mementos of a life once lived.
Inside are many personal belongings, set against 1970s wallpaper and décor.

This kind of thing is quite common in Belgium, something to do with how house inheritance works. Or perhaps there were no heirs. I have visited many such houses, it is so sad to see what once cherished things are left forgotten
Happy print day! A new batch of mini prints just arrived, these are ones I give away with my photobooks 📘
I was sorting them, and thought it might be fun to share a quick photo. All these #AbandonedPlaces are in #England, my home country 🇬🇧. They represent some of my favourite adventures over the last 8 years.
Which one catches your eye? If you want to know more about any of them, ask and I can share some info!
@becha
Aww thanks so much, yes the order came through on my phone. Ping! Always brings such a smile to my face when someone likes my work enough to bring it into their home 🙏💙
I am actually over in France next week, I might bring your book with me and ship it from there. Probably take the same time to arrive, and will save possible custom fees for you.
I added the blue ballroom print, but will also pick a mystery print as your second little gift. Surprises are always fun 😍
@becha Hi Vesna, just sending you a private message and a little update! I am about to fly to France, yay! I don’t think I can fit your parcel in my bag, well it might fit but it might be crushed against my tripod D:. So if it is ok I will post from home today. It won’t take long, usually a week or so :)
@joeroe
Aye, in my article I go into the "rediscovery" but do illustrate this is only in terms of with regards to the western world. I did toy with putting "lost city" in quotations, for the title it is called this but only from an outside perspective. Thanks for the feedback though, I will reconsider making this clearer in the article as well as going with my original idea to use quotation marks when referring to it as a "lost city". Will change this post now, website updates to follow🙏
🖤 So disheartened to be struck with another chronic fatigue/brain fog episode. It hasn't been long since the previous one, and they last a week or two. Time for some #selfcare and taking it easy, looking forward and planning to make the most of when my energy returns 😴
If you have some cute animal photos or cheerful flowers, feel free to share them with me. Photography is always my biggest joy!

Thanks Dave! Oh yes this film has such lovely grain, I also love how it looks with the black and white. Nice and gritty texture. Thanks so much for your support 🙏🖤
I climbed up behind the very tall altar, balancing on an old radiator and onto the narrow window ledge. This gave a very interesting vantage point to shoot my photos from, while balancing and shooting over the top of the altar.
Kinda looks like I am hovering several metres of the floor though, guess it offers a different perspective 🤣
