Good morning fellow Mastos and hello to a horrible, dark, miserable, wet, rainy and windy Monday. Again!

Wesley has decided that he is definitely not going out in it, until he absolutely has to. He, and I may not have a choice later though.

MrsD is going to Scarborough with her walking group for their annual 3 day "walking the coast" trip. Wesley and I are staying home.

Dearest people, a little while ago at work, I swapped someone's laptop over for one that wasn't running badly. We had suspicions about this person and what he was using the laptop for alongside work and found lots of files that got them sacked instantly. Since then I have been looking through the deleted files and here is the warning. If you delete a file, you don't actually delete it. Most of the time it can be recovered. Keep your work machines just for work. You will be caught.

If you good people need to say something, say it, don't say one thing and mean something else, or claim you meant something else when someone replies. I just tried to reply to a toot that went along these lines and simply couldn't, no words could put right what was spun to their meanings, sometimes it is simply easier to block the idiots and move on rather than be right and argue.

A wise person once said, nothing.

A local family brought this to light with a TERF business owner their son worked for and had loads of grief from said TERF about gender and sexual preference - long story as it usually is but the family stand with their son regardless. Only the year before, she payed a local man to take her son to a gay bar hoping it would scare him into not being gay. Can't make this shit up Rowling only gets heard because of money.

@dgar LOL, its a rewrite of a fairytale so they could be anyone's really. I suppose if the slipper was glass, the knickers would probably not be what you expect them to be made of and are discarded purely from a comfort point of view.

A much quieter day today, breakfast, being abused by the cats, chores.

Played ESO this afternoon , in between sticking me nose in on here.

Sometimes days are just about paddling to stay still.

@infobeautiful As a Scot in Cornwall I can say that both ma haim and the pointy end both pronounce this skôn. This isn't the issue, it's the order of jam and cream here that causes issues. Get it wrong and they'll shut the borders until there's an apology.

Now, I thought I had most of this sort of thing taken care of but the other day I searched (DDG) on my laptop using Firefox, behind a VPN with ad, tracking and malware blocked for a local holiday park. I followed a link to the local rather than national number on on the holiday park site. Today, TripAdvisor sent me 3 emails about booking a trip to this holiday park near where I live. I don't use TripAdvisor on my laptop but fortunately have a mail alias (now deleted) for it on my phone. BLOCKED!
