Unfortunately the $500 goal wasn't reached yesterday. Online mutual aid support provided $194! (Thank you!) So I pulled $300 from my family's mutual aid vehicle savings so survivor could pay the remaining amount by today as planned.

So many Natives have fallen in scripted comparisons of lateral violence. Arguments that "only Natives get treated this way". We're incentivized by oppressors to compare our oppression to other oppressed ppls and blame eachother for hierarchies, when American Exceptionalism is really at the root.

We shouldn't be focusing on the idea of who gets treated better in the hierarchy, but abolishing the hierarchy altogether. American Exceptionalism maintains the eugenics hierarchy.

It's been 5 years since we were displaced to So's homelands in CA, after the eviction from my ancestral homelands in St Paul, we been staying with inlaws, and we finally have an opportunity to move towards building upward mobility, if we can get repaired.

It's a gut punch to know that particular traumas Natives still navigate everyday are treated as leftist hypotheticals. The trauma and fallout of genocide is very real. And we re still fighting off colonizers and the necro politics that brings violence.
