@craiggrannell @llamasoft_ox Is it me or is adding content to Retroarch extremely frustrating and confusing. The folder/file hierarchy makes no sense and this is from someone who knows IT, how’s an average non techie user going to cope 🤷‍♂️

@craiggrannell @llamasoft_ox I’m trying to use the AppleTV version and can add games to the folder structure using the handy web UI but when using the Import content feature the folder structure bears no resemblance to where I upload 🤷‍♂️

Been messing with a cheap pixel display from AliExpress. Colour accuracy isn't great (reduced brightness of icon down by 50%) but it is 32x32 display meaning Classic Mac icons display perfectly. There's also a library on GitHub that allows to interact with the display via Python so the possibilities are starting to form 🤔.

Electronics nerds! I need your wisdom, advice, and admonishment.

I have a small circuit board with a large USB-A plug.

I want to remove the USB-A and replace it with a USB-C plug.

Is that possible? If so, what would I need?

I have a soldering iron that I've used at least twice!

(The connection needs data and power - although not a lot of either. I don't have space to add an A-to-C converter dongle to it.)

Managed to make a half decent Windows 10 gaming rig out of the Mac Pro, helps to have an AMD RX580 graphics card via an eGPU installed.

As a bonus, the eGPU also works in macOS (Monterey) 👍.

(Excuse the cable management)

Can’t take all the credit for getting the eGPU working, followed the guide here (https://egpu.io/forums/builds/2013-mac-pro-fp-d500-x2-3rd12ce-rx-580-16gbps-tb2tb3-th3p4g3-win10-22h2/) which involved turning off a number of PCI adapters within device manager and using AMD drivers from 2019 🤷‍♂️.

Is Bluesky being seen as a solution to Twitter/X? Like, a problematic centralised service is replaced by a... not currently problematic centralised service?

Or is Bluesky something completely different and I'm reading its wiki incorrectly?
