  • billclawson,

@skykiss I think our media thrives on conflict: both real and manufactured. The facts didn’t change, but their spinning did the job.

@w7voa not unexpected. The easiest way the US could tell Netanyahu to chill is to deny him his new weapons.

Do you think offshore solar is a good direction?

Check out our video on it, here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4CMk7Sp831Q&feature=youtu.be

Or check out the page on our website, here: https://undecidedmf.com/how-offshore-solar-could-be-the-future-of-energy/

    billclawson,

@mattferrell offshore FPV sounds like a maintenance nightmare, whereas freshwater FPV provides advantages to lake and canal owners beyond generating power, such as reduced evaporation and algae growth mitigation, and when panels need to be cleaned off, there’s a ready supply of fresh water inches away from the panels.

    billclawson,

@georgetakei I don’t know about you, but what concerns my very, very much is that Trump is favored to win the next election in four battleground states. How is it that more than half of the American people are in favor of re-electing unrepentant, insurrectionist, Trump? As a nation have we really become that stupid?

: Don't cry fowl, but 40 million tonnes of chicken feathers are incinerated each year, producing toxic gases. What if they could be used to make fuel cells instead? Researchers have found a way to turn the keratin found in feathers into the membranes of fuel cells. News Source: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2023/10/231020105108.htm

    billclawson,

@mattferrell this is a great idea! I hope the keratin membrane is a lot less expensive. I looked up pricing on conventional PEM and was flabbergasted. Crazy expensive.

Special Counsel Jack Smith wants a narrow gag order to prevent Trump from harassing and intimidating witnesses and court officials in his public rants on social media. Trump thinks as a presidential candidate his First Amendment rights should remain unabridged. But as a criminal defendant out of prison pre-trial, his rights are curtailed by agreement, signed by him. If Judge Chutkan imposes a limited gag order, how long until he violates it, I wonder? Betcha he can’t help himself.

    billclawson,

@georgetakei He’ll violate that order in the time it takes to find his phone and post onto Truth social, and not a second longer.

NOT telling the citizens about GOP treason from Trump and McConnell makes Mitt Romney the OPPOSITE of a hero. Culpable.

    billclawson,

@StillIRise1963 I’m going to have to disagree somewhat. Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney were the only Republicans to vote to impeach Trump (IIRC). They did so knowing it was a career ending move. It should be obvious by now that almost all politicians are spineless, so when even two stand up against the wishes of their party to do what’s right — even if their effort made about as much difference as a fart in a hurricane — it’s worth, if not praise, relief from total vilification.
