So like, this isn't a boycott or anything, but no I'm not gonna watch Coppala's new epic/disaster because he cast Jon Voight in it, and I've now seen enough unhinged, incoherent fascist raving pro-Trump videos and messages produced by Voight that my ability to suspend my disbelief when he's on screen is basically over. That guy's brain is fucking tapioca and if you wanted me to watch your movie you shoulda cast someone who hasn't become Martin Sheen in the Dead Zone level bonkers/worthless.

One thing all of this demonstrates is the worst thing that can happen to a website is massive success.

The more hits you have, the more traffic, the more expensive it gets. And it’s not a linear increase.

People ask “why take that money” and like y’all, the fuck you think is paying the bills? Your occasional donation?

@tojiro @mekkaokereke because EVs are still a status symbol. If you don’t live in an area with a LOT of public charging, or you have to use on-street parking, the usability of an EV drops a lot, especially the low range ones which would be cheaper, but require more charging.

I have such highly developed ad blindness that the Crush ad didn't even register with me. It took me awhile to understand what the complaints were about.

I wonder if it would have gone over better if instead of showing things being destroyed, they showed the objects fusing together. Kind of like how we think of a diamond being created.
