I haven't played it yet but everything I hear about it is just praise after praise. I even have it sitting in my steam library atm but am afraid to play it now cause it can't possibly live to the expectations 😂

there was a time where games with deep complex lore were preferable to me since they were few and far between

it also used to be that studios focused on the gameplay FIRST and tried to make it fun, and the story/lore/world/characters/etc grew organically with each game

but now EVERY game has to have this deep nuanced setting and characters with huge backstories that I just can't be bothered to get into

just let me play I don't careee
