I must confess that I cannot see a use for Apple Vision Pro for any sane human, unless they want to try to convince people of their total insanity by waving their hands around at objects no one else can see. It just seems like an overpriced paperweight to me.

If you would rather feed your addictions than your children, you’re a bad parent. If you routinely crush your children’s dreams because they dream of being something you could never be, you’re a bad parent. If your children stay locked in their rooms all of the time out of fear of encountering you Because they know you’ll shame them or find some other way to make them feel worthless, you’re a bad parent. If you routinely lie to your children and treat them like your own personal piggy bank just so you can feed your addictions, you’re a bad parent. If you deliberately do things your children hate just because you know they hate them, you’re a bad parent. If you inflict your children with lifelong trauma, just because you feel like it, you’re a bad parent. Yes, I’m speaking from firsthand experience.

I was just told my device needs to support wireless Bluetooth to communicate with my display. I’ve never heard of wired Bluetooth.

Good job, Clubhouse, you’ve won the lying through your teeth and emails award. Let’s see how you like being called out for it. If there’s one thing I can’t stand it’s a liar.

You know, as many companies as I’m sure we would all like to tear in half, I say we start up a podcast feed for it. We can all have the login information and post whenever a platform is giving us trouble and needs to be called out.

If they really want to let us customize our smart devices, they’ll make a way for us to program in our own wake words. With the way mine love to not pay attention, hey stupid is a more apt wake up phrase than any of the ones they give us

Got an Apple TV looking for a new home. It’s the HD model with 32 gig of storage. Comes with the original remote, the original power, cord, and the original box. I don’t have a lightning cable for the remote or an HDMI cable. Asking $50 or best offer, and I’ll need a hand with shipping because no funds

What company say versus what they actually mean.
Your call is important to us actually means we don’t care about you or your problems and we just want you on the phone so you have to pay us money.
We value your feedback actually means we don’t give a crap about anything you say, but making you fill out this form makes us look good.
It’s on our roadmap actually means we are never going to do it and we don’t care what any of our users think.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention actually means we hear you, but we don’t care.
We will look into this actually means we will file your issue in some corner and totally forget about it.
We value your privacy, actually means we are collecting everything about you ever and we are going to sell it to all of our advertising partners.

Real question I just read from a computer book, what should I do if I purchase a new device and the battery is dead? Charge it? Duh

I'm going to confess something I probably shouldn't have done when I was in high school. As some of you have doubtless heard, I had a brailleNote Apex that I absolutely hated. I've talked about the freezing, but the display wasn't comfortable either. It was, for lack of a better word, sharp. Well, I found the place in the storage system where all of the manual files were stored for the user guide, and I found out how to edit them. The following text was therefore mysteriously appended to the Braille display care section. Warning! For your own safety, please do not use Braille display sharpeners. Humanware is not responsible for any damage to your fingers or the associated medical costs

I’ve got a challenge for every single one of you. In recent days, my whole feed has been nothing but the world is collapsing in around our ears, and World War III is going to break out at literally any second and everyone you care about could be blown up by some random nut job. Frankly all of that is getting hard to take, my challenge to every single one of you is to look around you, find something uplifting that could help people, and share that instead. If there’s something worth sharing with your friends, it’s a call to look at something good happening somewhere. Please share this with everyone.

Email subject line I just saw in my inbox, be your own boss by driving with Lyft. Subject of a response I would send back if I could, endanger a lot of passengers by asking a blind person with no license to drive with Lyft.

Captain obvious returns in the form of the first aid manual from the American Red Cross. If the person is not breathing, their life is threatened.
